Mr. Summers came to FCX Systems in September of 2010 in the role of Executive Sales Associate for Commercial Aviation. Since that time he has worked his way up to his current position as Vice President for Business Development as well as being a member of the Senior Management group.
Prior to his work with FCX Systems, Mr. Summers served 13 years with Amerbridge Services LLC. Mr. Summers' role included the design, installation, and management of various systems for Passenger Boarding Bridges, 400hz frequency converters, and Pre-conditioned air systems around the world. His duties included managing over 20 personnel as the Manager of Field and Technical Services.
Prior to his work with Ameribridge Services LLC, Mr. Summers served 6 years in the United States Marine Corps as an F/A-18 Electrician. Where his duties also included maintaining and repairing all GSE equipment to include solid state and diesel driven converters. Mr. Summers received several awards during his time in the United States Marine Corps for exemplary service and performance.
Mr. Summers currently resides in Port Orange, Florida. He is Married to Kimberly Summers and is the father of two sons - Gage & Kyle
Matt Howell is the Senior Vice President for Production & Project Engineering for FCX Systems, INC. located in Morgantown, West Virginia. FCX Systems designs, manufactures, and sells solid state frequency converters and air conditioning units for commercial and military aviation, shipyards, and industrial applications. FCX sales are throughout the United States and 76 foreign countries on all seven continents.
Matt is a graduate of West Virginia University with a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering. Before starting with FCX Systems in 1987, Mr. Howell spent six years working in the design, development, and production of the first solid state frequency converter in the commercial airline industry. He was also involved in the design of digital logic and analog circuitry, power semiconductor circuitry, and a variety of test rigs as well as automatic paralleling and de-paralleling circuits. All these designs have been included in various power conversion designs. Because of Matt’s extensive work with the first solid state frequency converters, he is considered one of the industry leaders in fixed frequency conversion. Among the 400 Hz experts, Mr. Howell is considered “the solid state expert”.
During his work at FCX, the Company has received the Governor’s Award for Excellence in Exporting in 1995. In 2000, FCX was selected to receive the President’s E-Award by the United States Department of Commerce on behalf of the President for Excellence in Exporting and received the Small Business Administration’s “Administrator’s Award for Excellence” in 2001 for their sub-contract work with the Air Force on the F-22 program. Matt was directly responsible for helping design the power conversion unit (270VDC) for the F-22. Matt has played a major role in design and production in many of the “firsts” which were developed by FCX.
Allen Wright is the Senior Vice President for Engineering & Research and Development for FCX Systems, INC. located in Morgantown, West Virginia. FCX Systems designs, manufactures, and sells solid state frequency converters and air conditioning units for commercial and military aviation, shipyards, and industrial applications. FCX sales are throughout the United States and 76 foreign countries on all seven continents. Allen received his engineering education through West Virginia University. This education, coupled with an 8-year internship opportunity with one of the best power engineers that ever designed controls, has made Mr. Wright one of the brightest and most respected power engineers in the country. Before starting with FCX in 1987, Mr. Wright spent 16 years working in various power engineering positions. He has worked extensively on the design and development of electronic controls for power motion and industrial processes. He has designed variable and fixed frequency converters, microprocessor-based controls, discreet and large scale integration (LSI) base SCR firing regulators, and small controls for power regulators and control circuits. Allen designed the first 460-volt AC converters ever produced in the world. This design became, and still is today, the industry leader for difficult and rugged applications. Allen was also heavily involved in the design of the first 400 Hz solid state frequency converter. Due to Allen’s work in power controls, he became and remains one of the industry’s experts. He is considered by most individuals in the industry to be the top application engineer for variable controls in the world.

Christine Murphy serves as the Chief Financial Officer for FCX Systems, Inc. located in Morgantown, West Virginia. FCX Systems designs, manufactures, and sells solid state frequency converters for commercial and military aviation, shipyard, and industrial applications. FCX Systems was founded in 1987 and has units located throughout the United States and in over 75 countries on all seven continents.
Christine is a graduate of Fairmont State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and joined FCX Systems in 2010 as the Controller and has advanced to the position of Chief Financial Officer. She is a member of the senior management team that is responsible for the day to day operations of FCX. Prior to her work with FCX, Christine worked 18 years for the West Virginia University Foundation. While at the West Virginia University Foundation, she was responsible for disbursements of over $40M per year, established the purchasing/corporate card program, prepared monthly financial statements, trained internal and external users on software applications, and assisted in the development of a customized software program.
Christine serves on the Finance Committee of the United Way of Monongalia and Preston County. Previously, she served as the Assistant Treasurer of the United Way of Monongalia and Preston County, Treasurer of a community basketball league as well coached and coordinated in the league.
Craig Walker serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer for FCX Systems, Inc. located in Morgantown, West Virginia. FCX Systems designs and manufactures solid state power frequency converters for commercial and military aviation, shipyard, and industrial applications. FCX units are located throughout the United States and over 70 countries on all seven continents.
Mr. Walker came to FCX Systems in September of 2008 through a multi-year management consulting engagement between FCX and Glenmark Holding Capital, LLC – of which Mr. Walker was the Director of Business Services. Since that time, he, along with the members of the company’s senior management and Glenmark’s leadership, accomplished the successful restructuring and recapitalization of the company. As of December of 2014, Mr. Walker is an employee of FCX and has acquired a minority ownership of the company.
Prior to his work with FCX Systems and GMH Capital, Mr. Walker’s had served 30 years in key senior organizational and financial management positions. Those positions included: Chief of Staff to the President of West Virginia University (1 year); Vice President of Finance & Administration and Treasurer for the West Virginia University Foundation (12 years); Assistant Athletic Director for Finance & Administration for West Virginia University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics (14 years); and Accounting Officer for the West Virginia Network for Educational Telecomputing (3 years). He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (1977) and a Master of Science in Sport Management (1981) – both from West Virginia University.
In 2000, he was inducted into the West Virginia University School of Physical Education Hall of Fame. Prior to that, he was named the inaugural recipient of the Sport Management Graduate Program’s Distinguished Alumni Award in 1992. He served many terms on the School’s Visiting Committee, including two terms as Chair. For over 20 years, he taught a finance class in the sport management graduate curriculum.
In the community, Mr. Walker serves as the Chair for the Fairmont State University Foundation Board of Directors, Member of the West Liberty University Research Corporation Board of Directors, Member of the Fortis Healthcare Board of Advisors, and Member of the Morgantown Economic Partnership Board of Directors. Previously, he has served as President, Vice President and Treasurer of the Mylan Park Foundation Board of Directors, Chair of the Greater Morgantown Area Chamber of Commerce, Chair of the MAC PAC Board of Directors, Vice President of the Morgantown Ronald McDonald House Charities Board of Directors, Member of the Morgantown Airport Advisory Board, and as Treasurer for St. Thomas ‘a Becket Episcopal Church. As his children were growing up, Craig coached and coordinated youth basketball and baseball leagues.
Since 1973, Mr. Walker has resided in the Morgantown community. He is married to Nancy Walker and the father of three adult children.
